Eric Nummelin - Team Owner and Driver
Eric Nummelin has been a lifelong Motorsports Driver, Team Owner and Supporter. He started racing in 1982 in the Castrol Sprints Championship and favourable results led to continued activity. Series raced in include:
Castrol Sprints, CASC Solo 1 Championship, CASC National Class Karting Championship, NTN Bearings National Championship, Firestone Firehawk Endurance Championship, Michelin Enduroseries, Canada Challange Cup, CASC Ontario Challenge Cup, Touring GT Championship, Castrol Touring Car Championship. Results include;
- CASC Time Attack Class Wins and Track Records
- Canadian National Class Karting Champion 1990, many class and race wins
- Firestone Firehawk Hard Charger of the Year Award 1992
- Numerous CASC Race Wins in Ontario Challenge Cup and Sprints
Eric has had successful experience in many types of cars on a large number of tracks in different types of cars ranging from low horsepower Showroom Stock Cars to high horsepower NASCAR Stock Cars across Canada and the USA.
Mark Clyde - Car Owner And Driver
In his rookie year during 2015, Mark Clyde competed in a varied series of events as he came to grips with his new Cougar. Mark stepped right in to the Winners Circle in the CASC GT Challenge 3 Hour Enduro and ended the year finishing in Second Place in the GT Class. For 2016, Mark will be looking to improve and increase his experience in a wide variety of events that will pit him against some of the best road racers in Ontario and potentially Canada. Mark will be using his many years of lapping and motorsports experience to come up to speed quickly on a number of new tracks.
After a successful debut in the Inaugural Toronto Motorsports Park/Champion Racing Oil GT Superseries Event July 13th 2014, we are pleased to be joined by Derek Ross who will be driving with us again in selected events in 2016. Derek Ross has many years of successful experience racing everything from Honda Michelin Civics to Formula Atlantic cars to GT1 cars to IMSA GT cars. Derek is returning to the track to reconnect and rejoin the driving tandem of Derek and Eric who did so well in the Firestone Firehawk Series and the Canadian Challenge Cup Series. We are pleased that someone of Derek's experience will be working with the team and we look forward to many return engagements.
Malcolm Strachan - Driver
We are very pleased to announce that Malcolm has joined this happy club. Malcolm has a wealth of motorsport experience and has been a consistent race winner over the last 15 years. There have been many Regional and National Championships and race wins in race equipment ranging from RX7's to Corvettes to NASCAR Canada Stock Cars. Highlights include;
