Mark Clyde - Solosprint Competitor
For 2011, Mark Clyde will be the Nummelin Motorsport Group competitor in the CASC Solosprint racing series (similar to Time Attack). He will be using the #23 RX7 in the Closed Wheel Modified Class. Mark Clyde has a number of years of lapping experience and this will be his "rookie" year in motorsport competition. The 2011 year will be a learning year for the effort and Mark will be learning the nuances of the tracks and the competition. The car is underpowered for the class and we will be looking for strong results at the tighter circuits where the car's handlin and grip can be exploited. The Solo Series runs events at the Mosport DDT, the Mosport GP track, Toronto Motorsport Park, Shannonville Mtorsport Park and Calabogie Motorsport Park.
