2016 was an exciting year for Nummelin Motorsport Group. With our new relationship with NA Carrera Tires and entering all 3 cars in a variety of races ranging from the fun and cozy embrace of the VARAC Vintage Weekend at CTMP, to the wide open competition of the CTCC GT Invitational at Shannonville to the rain and cold of the BEMC 3 Hour Enduro the whole team tasted success and pain as we progressed through the year. At the end, we had far more success than expected and overall it was a very good year.

#24 RX7
The RX7 continued to show a great turn of speed doing very well in the first GT Challenge race at CTMP in April, but overheating and loosing a motor at the VARAC Weekend has put the car on the shelf until 2017.

#68 Cougar
Interesting year that started out with good success at Shannonville, but an injury to Mark Clyde took it out of the running for the rest of the year.

#23 Cougar
The Cougar showed great results this year with top placings in a wide variety of events. It exceeded expectations in everything from scorching hot and tight races at Shannonville to the wide sweeps and cold and wet of CTMP.
